Rear Window

Looking back to 1954 for this classic Alfred Hitchcock film. . .Jimmy Stewart plays the part of "Jeff" Jeffries, a photographer stuck in a wheelchair in his apartment.  Through a window and the lens of his camera, he sees his neighbors. . .and comes to suspect one of them is a murderer.

It is genius.  Who could imagine that a world seen from one apartment could be so intriguing?  Hitchcock of course.  And Jimmy Stewart is superb as the good guy who has too much time on his hands and not enough ability to get around.  He is good.  Honest.  Keen observer.
