Bohemian Gravity. Pure Genius
First of all, I am rather embarrassed. I know several of you stopped in and saw nothing new. I hope you'll stick with me even though it seems I am a bit of a slacker these days. It's not so much that I'm slacking but that I am swamped, pretty much all the time
So today I offer you a little video that I saw while wasting time on Facebook last night. I just happen to think it's pretty cool stuff. The kind of thing that should be shared.

Here's a scoop nobody else has. Timmy was only 2 years old when he was telling knock knock jokes when friends came to the house. At 3, he was making up songs with what his mother read him and melodies he heard even though he didn't understand the words. For example: "this lamb (sic) is made for you and me". He was chording on the piano by the age of 4. He can hear a song once and figure out how to play it on his guitar a few minutes later. With not much effort, he'll sing the whole thing on a piano after a few runs. He can hear all the tracks of a musical piece and recreate them as in this video. He is a phenomenal drummer - just picked it up on the fly because his older brother Tom ( a song writer and bass player in the band "Fighting for Ithaca" ) needed a drummer for his band. He would have been about 10 when he started drumming. He has formed many a capella groups and often performed in public as in downtown Vancouver while working at TRIUMF (UBC) one summer. He is a phenomenal ukulele player, an instrument that fascinated him when he met Hawaiians in Australia. He posts a new video almost every week, Cabin 9 and others. I'm not surprised he has produced this masterpiece. Tim's dad, Gerry.
