We're talking baseball. . .

It's that time of the year again--playoffs and since my Tigers are still playing, it's my topic.  At lunch today people who have never heard me talk sports had to listen to my rant about my beloved Tigers' loss to Boston (shudder!) last night.

It's like an alternate reality.  I just don't talk sports.  And it's funny because since people aren't used to it, they look at me like I'm some kind of foreigner.  At the same time, it's funny to me because in some ways, it's like I am speaking a foreign language, one that has been long forgotten but I can still speak it.

So with that in mind. . . .
