Friday Fun!

This is seriously laugh out loud humor. . .and safe.

My youngest was giggling away over this one night to the point that my husband came in and asked what on earth was so funny.

Just the good old Carol Burnett show.  From back when they made good TV.

We found a whole playlist of skits.  You should take some time to watch them.  Be prepared to laugh, a lot!

Mrs. HaWiggins. . . . .

Oh my goodness this one popped up as a suggested video for me and it's so worth a few minutes to get your day off to a good start (or maybe it's your evening. . .)

Carol Burnett was a staple of Saturday nights in our house.

Sadly, DVDs of complete seasons aren't available.  So we just celebrate what we can find here and there.

This one is a great one. . .Mr. Tudball and his secretary Mrs. Wiggins.  However, when Mr Tudball says her name, it sounds more like Mrs. HaWiggins.

Enjoy the next 12 minutes of  good old comedy.

I love Tim Conway and Harvey Korman

The Carol Burnett Show rocked.  It can't be purchased as a full season set.  Pout.  It was good clean entertainment for the family.

And the sketch actors were hilarious.  How they kept a straight face through their shows was always amazing to me.

Here is a sample of the greats at work:

Ding, ding dong ding. . .I Mar-ried Joan!

Well, obviously I didn't.  But it was a TV show back in the 1950s.  I used to watch it late at night in the 1980s.  It was similar to the I Love Lucy series and it was a riot.  Joan Davis and Jim Backus.  Truly good stuff!  Enjoy this episode which was the pilot for the series.
