Oh Yeah, Life Goes On. . . .

Things have been crazy busy lately.  It's been hard to keep up with everything.  It's been nearly impossible to stay positive.  Turns out that the early years of sleep deprivation are nothing compared to when the kids get older and have activities everywhere all evening long.

A friend and I were talking about how life changes as families grow up.  Things just keep getting "different" whether we like it or not.

And my friend reminded me that John Mellencamp (who I grew up knowing as John Cougar) had a great line. . .

Long after this period, of livin' is gone

Excellent perspective when I really needed a reminder.  We keep going. . .life goes on.
